A Visit to the Library

I love this library. I love today how its more than a library but an adventure, this library has a place to get lunch, a book store, and then all the wonderful things a library should be, just a library. The bookstore is wonderful, for as little as a quarter you can get children's books. Maddie found three for a whopping total of $1.38 you can't beat that. Plus they enjoyed just getting there. I could live in the library the interior is architecturally beautiful, like a time gone by with a Modern twist. Its just beautiful inside and out. The Library is right on the little river with beautiful scenery and benches, makes for a great little adventure. Plus the little Village of Poland is a nice place for a stroll. We had a delightful visit this day.

Surprise Treat for the Girls

Seeing that Faith was volunteering to play solo tonight at Cello Class. I wanted to take her and Maddie out for something fun, something to help her relax before the big event. Faith has been asking to go To Maggies Magic Muffins for a few weeks now, so I figured today was the perfect day for a fun treat.

Maggies is Located in Boardman Ohio, not only do they have Muffins but wonderful lunches too, I believe they are opened till 5pm.

The above Muffin is the Pineapple Steusel and it was so so Yummy like Pineapple upside down cake in a muffin...Delicious.

Really Good, can't let any go to waste.

The girls both got Muffins called Abby Road, loaded with chocolate.

Look at all the Muffins Choices. Wow. And just 1.95 per Huge Muffin.

Just a delightful little Coffee, lunch and dessert shop

The girls want to know, "when are we going again?"
After I run 3 miles to get it off, Maybe next week.
Faith performed Solo tonight at Cello and did Awesome.
A wonderful ending to a delightful day.

Lisa's Tomato and Pepper Chicken....YUM...

I love stepping into the kitchen and just whipping something up off the top of my head. And even better when it turns out AWESOME. So I was cooking up some chicken and had all these vegetables piled on my counter from the Garden and starting cutting them up and throwing them in with the chicken, in the end I had an amazingly great dinner with a side of corn on the cob from our Garden.
Lisa's Tomato and Pepper Chicken
7 Chicken Tenderloins cooked in a small amount of water with salt and pepper till tender.
7 Medium Hungarian Hot Pepper sliced throw in with cooked chicken
2 Red Tomatoes large hand size cut up into huge chunks throw in with peppers and chicken
1 Green Pepper small chopped add to the mix
1 Green Tomato small chopped add to mix

Season above with Tony's, Pepper and Salt and some Garlic Powder if you like, which I love.
2 tablespoons of Olive Oil add to the mix

While all this was cooking we were making FRIED GREEN TOMATOES..... make these too, or rice

In the chicken mixture add 1/2 cup of ketchup and about 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce Cook covered about 10 to 15 minutes then cook uncovered till it cooks down and is thick.

We then topped it on top of the Fried Green Tomatoes...Delicious very very Delicious... if no fried green tomatoes are available top on long grain brown rice...
Enjoy, L

Soloist

Photography by Lisa Clear copyright 2009
Spent the last half hour before bed time. Listening to Fay practice Cello for Tuesday nights class. She is going to volunteer to play Solo. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening she has Cello with all the kids in her school. At the closing of class they ask for a student or two to be soloist of the day. So she has been working on a song they haven't taught in class. Fay is going to go solo playing Jingle Bells, one of my Christmas favorites. She did pretty good tonight and has 3 more days to prepare. I'm so proud of her, she has a natural talent with the Cello and it's such a beautiful sounding instrument. She is only 11 so I'm enjoying watching her grow with this new talent and am looking forward to years of hearing her play beautiful music.

The Journey

Today's Journey begins with yesterdays thoughts and Dreams. My mind has been lost in a world of hues, foggy interfaces and vintage dreams. I have all these photos in my head I want to take. Summer is coming to a close I feel a rush to capture some of the last moments of summer, before the Beauty of Autumn sets in. I love Autumn, I can't wait to capture all its beauty. My goal is to never walk out the door with out my camera and model release forms. I feel a new journey like the warmth of a gentle breeze that wraps around you on a summers day.

About The Paper Note

I'm an artist on a Mission. A mission of living life with out regret, without fear, and always having an open mind. My Journey begins everyday and never ends, it is undefined and always changing. There is always something new to learn around every corner, an image to capture the hues and beauty of life. I don't want to leave a stone unturned, a photo un-taken, a moment not captured or a door unopened. I don't want to look back and say I wish I would have, should have or why? My story begins everyday. This is My Paper Note. Photography By L
